Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how x.com.ag (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information when you use x.com.ag (https://x.com.ag) — URL shortening, text sharing, chat rooms, and related pages. Public use is anonymous: we do not ask you to create an account, sign in, or provide your real name or email to use these tools. This policy also covers cookies and, when enabled, advertising such as Google AdSense.
Effective: 4 November 2026 · Last updated: 5 November 2026
1. Anonymous public use
- No registration, no public user profile, and no social graph on the open service
- Links, pastes, and chat rooms are accessed only via the URL or code you create or receive — not via a public directory
- We do not use the public tools to build a marketed identity profile of you or to sell your name or contact details
- Optional nicknames in chat are chosen by you and are not verified identity documents
Automated systems may still process technical data (below) to run the service, prevent abuse, and comply with law. That processing supports anonymous use; it does not mean we publish who you are to other visitors.
2. Data controller and contact
The data controller is x.com.ag. Privacy questions or requests: [email protected].
3. Services covered
- Short links (optional password and expiry)
- Shared text (pastes)
- Temporary chat rooms (X Chat)
- Redirect and interstitial pages that may show advertisements on some surfaces
4. Information involved
What you submit. URLs, text, room titles, optional passwords, chat messages, and display nicknames. Passwords for protected links or pastes are stored in hashed form for verification only.
Technical data (automatic). Our infrastructure may briefly process standard web request data — for example timestamps, referrer, browser/device type from the User-Agent, and anti-abuse signals. We do not tie this to a named account because public users do not have accounts.
On your device. Session storage or cookies may remember chat participation or that you unlocked a password-protected link in this browser.
Content is visible only to people who have the link or room code. We do not operate a public search index of your pastes or chats.
5. How we use information
- Deliver redirects, pastes, and chat messages to participants with the correct link or code
- Apply expiry, one-time view, and password rules you select
- Protect the platform from malware, spam, and policy violations using automated means
- Measure aggregated traffic (e.g. redirect counts) without publishing visitor identities
- Show and measure ads only where you consent to advertising cookies and ads are enabled
- Respond to valid legal process when required
6. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
- Providing the service you request
- Legitimate interests in security, abuse prevention, and reliable operation
- Consent for non-essential cookies and personalized ads where required
- Legal obligation where applicable
8. Google AdSense and third-party advertising
Ads may appear on pages such as the homepage or redirect interstitials when enabled and you have consented where required.
Google and its partners may use cookies for personalized ads. Opt out via Google Ads Settings, aboutads.info (US), or Your Online Choices (EU). See Google partner sites and Google Privacy Policy.
10. Retention
Content and logs are kept only as long as needed to operate the service, honor expiry settings, and meet legal requirements. Expiring or one-time links and pastes are removed or disabled according to the options you choose.
11. Security
We use HTTPS and industry-standard practices appropriate to an anonymous link and chat service. No online system is perfectly secure; use optional passwords and share links only with intended recipients.
12. Your rights
Depending on your region, you may have access, deletion, or objection rights. Contact [email protected]. Because public use is anonymous, we may need the link, code, or other details to locate content tied to a request.
California residents: we do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA; ad partners may process data as in Section 8.
13. International transfers
Data may be processed where our servers or processors operate, with safeguards where required by law.
14. Children
Not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Contact us to request removal if you believe a child submitted content.
15. Changes
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change. Continued use means acceptance where law allows.
16. Terms of Service
